Ceri Dingle and Andy Hirst live in London and run an education charity which promotes global equality called WORLDwrite. Andy is also a conservator and restores paintings and historic interiors. You can visit his website here.

 

We first visited Kipilovo a few years ago thanks to Krysia and Stefan who run Balkanstone and fell in love with the people, the place, the surrounding area, the food and the wine. We decided to put our savings into buying a house and cottage in Kipilovo and to develop it so that eventually we can bring groups of volunteers working with our charity to learn film making in Bulgaria. We have also been looking into developing a further property in the village as a fully-fledged filmmaking school in the future. In the meantime we want to let the property and help cover the cost of its upkeep and ensure it is well used and enjoyed by visitors from all over the world.

 

It is such a wonderful village we can't recommend it enough and are delighted to now have a property so beautifully renovated, restored and finished thanks to Stefan.
